Dr.
Thomas P. Greiner, DVM
Dr. Greiner, owner of Oak Knoll and a native of Keota, IA, is a
Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.
He is a Board Certified surgeon specializing in soft
tissue. Dr. Greiner graduated from the Iowa State College of Veterinary
Medicine after which he completed his internship at The Animal
Medical Center in New York City. He then spent 14
years teaching surgery at the Animal Medical Center.
Dr. Greiner is a world renowned veterinarian, surgeon and
teacher. He has authored many textbooks and scientific articles.
He is also past president of the Illinois Veterinary Medical
Association, the Mississippi Valley Veterinary Medical
Association and the Quad City Veterinary Medical Association.

Shari L. Hagerty, DVM
Dr. Hagerty, originally from Epworth, IA, has been
practicing at Oak Knoll for 8 years. She attended the Iowa
State College of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated in
1997. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical
Association and the Illinois State Veterinary Medical
Association.
Dr. Hagerty enjoys the challenges of being a veterinarian,
particularly the tough ones. When she's not working she
enjoys spending time with family, reading, exercising and her
dog Scarlet, a Pomeranian.

Scott R. Macon, DVM
Dr. Macon has been practicing at Oak Knoll for over 2
years. He attended Iowa State University where he received
a Bachelor of Science in Biology and his DVM from the College of
Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Macon is a member of the American
Veterinary Medical Association, the Illinois Veterinary Medical
Association and the Omega Tau Sigma Veterinary Fraternity.
He is also our resident exotic species specialist.
When he's not at the office Dr. Macon is an avid sports fan and
enjoys walking and riding bikes with his wife and daughter,
landscaping and woodworking.
